In celebration of World Teachersโ Day 2025, the Department of Education (DepEd) Division of Davao del Sur held a grand division-wide celebration on October 3, 2025, to pay tribute to teachersโ unwavering commitment to quality education and nation-building.
The dayโs festivities featured a series of activities that honored teachersโ exemplary performance, recognized lifetime achievements of retired education leaders, and provided opportunities for camaraderie and joy through various fun-filled activities and entertainment.
A major highlight of the celebration was the SANGGI Awards, the Divisionโs highest recognition for outstanding contributions in the field of education. This yearโs awardees were lauded for their exceptional dedication, leadership, and impact on learners and communities.

Non-teaching personnel from different districts and division office actively participated, showcasing their talents and enjoying the celebration as one big education community.
