Students from Sta. Cruz National High School and Santa Cruz Central Elementary School brought pride to the Division of Davao del Sur after winning multiple awards at the Siam International Mathematics and Science Olympics (SIMSO) Final Round 2025, held from August 8 to 11, 2025, in Bangkok, Thailand.

Leading the winners was Bea Shyne Betonio (Secondary 3), who earned a Gold Medal and was named 1st Runner-Up. Fellow student Eunice Madulin (Secondary 2) also secured a Gold Medal, while Yuki Aรฑasco (Secondary 3) and Jules Alfred Cudera (Secondary 2) each brought home Bronze Medals.

From Santa Cruz Central Elementary School, Princess Jeth Avrielle M. Alcuizar (Primary 1) delivered an impressive performance, winning a Silver Medal in Mathematics and a Bronze Medal in Science.

The students were coached by Queency Faith M. Alcuizar, who was also honored as an Honor Guest Awardee at the prestigious international event.

This remarkable achievement highlighted the academic excellence and global competitiveness of young learners from the Division of Davao del Sur.
