122 learners of Union Elementary School, Bansalan East District, Division of Davao del Sur, are filled with joy as they received early Christmas gifts being the chosen recipients of the Civil Service Commission (CSC) RO XI and Provincial Office during their Outreach Program today, September 26, 2025.

Led by CSC Regional Director Cyril-Nathan SM Eamiguel and Provincial Field Director Richard T. Ortiz, the Outreach Program is one of the annual activities initiated by the Pinagisang Tinig Isip at Gawa (PINTIG)Team of CSC RO XI to gather financial resources from the generous hearts of the very people of CSC in the region and province, and to pool other resources in collaboration with the “Ka-pintig” stakeholders in the Provincial and Municipal LGUs. Each of the K-6 learner of Union ES is grateful to receive school bag, supplies, hygiene kits, home kits, vitamins, Jollibee meal, and to cap the event, a visit of Jollibee mascot himself.

“We are happy to have given joy to lives of Davsuranon learners and glad that we have extended our and other benefactors’ blessings to the children and the school”, said CSC Director Eamiguel.

The activity truly brought joy to the hearts of the learners and assured them that they are cared, loved and supported. The DepEd Division of Davao del Sur, with SDS Lorenzo Mendoza and ASDS Marilyn Deduyo at the helm, is grateful for this initiative and hope for the Division to create more opportunities in spreading joy to the school communities. The LGU of Bansalan led by Mayor Edwin Reyes, Councillor Ponciano Salazar, the Barangay Council of Union, Bansalan headed by Brgy. Capt Erwin Bacang also gave support to the activity.
